Colorless and transparent liquid with irritating smell, will be decomposed into phosphoric acid and hydrogen chloride and smoke in humid air; solidifying point: 1.25℃, b.p.: 105.3℃, liquidrelative density (water=1) 1.68(15.5℃), gas phase relative density(air=1) 5.3

1. Mainly used in the production of Acaron chlordimeform Fundal Galecron Prethylene Spanon and plasticizer etc. ;
2. In the chlorination reaction of sulphamethoxypyridazine;
3. In the production of dyestuff intermediates, chlorating agents and catalysts for organic sysnthesis etc.

It is combustion-supporting, and soluble in alcohols and water.
